I love it and have been using it for quite some time. I do have alot of buildup inside and I don’t know how to get it out. It’s dried Art Glitter glue and we know how strong that is. I haven’t tried soaking it in hot water yet. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the review. I wondered why you waited so long to use.

I absolutely love this product and there’s nothing like it on the market. I have NEVER had to use a pin to unclog, just put the lid back on and twist it closed as the lid has it’s own pin. The lid fits on the front of the holster when you are using the glue. I have also NEVER had the silicone pad come out and I’ve had it for 2 years. It is a little expensive, but compared to having to put the pin in and out of the art glitter glue bottles constantly, I will pay the price. Less aggravation and the small amount of care it takes to keep it fresh is nothing of great substance nor a real reason not to purchase for the ease of use and no clogging of the actual needle.

Thank you for your honest opinion. I’ve been on the fence about it and I’m still on the fence. I wish someone out there could make something that is 100% clog free if that’s even possible.

Love mine-took a while to pull the trigger to buy because of cost but it’s def worth the money. I can leave mine in the holder for several days and come back- it’s fine no clogs. I haven’t tried my art glitter glue yet but the enclosed glue is working well. Haven’t experienced the glue build up as yet. As you said art glitter was driving me crazy, this is a game changer.

I love the glue press too, Kathy, with the exception as you said, the inside of the holster becomes a mess. I use the art glitter glue also, and I have a mess of a buildup on the sides! I heard you say to soak it in hot water. I thought of that, but will that dry out the little red stopper at the bottom? I have scraped it out with a plastic knife, I’ve tried everything!!

Thanks Kathy I got this for my mom who has some sensory issues with her hands and how hard she was squeezing the smaller fine tip dispensers. Also trying to get to maneuver the sharp pin into the smaller bottles was challenging. So she has lived the Sweet Petunia and it has made her crafting less stressful and more relaxing. I completely agree with the cons you described getting it seated in the holster so that the tip stays in contact with the silicone is a must and the space it takes up. But it is a much more efficient tool. I would like to try a Beacon in it but much like Allene’s it is thicker. We used up the Neuvo and it works very much like Art Glitter but my refill is also Art Institute cause the refills are on hand. Thanks

These fall colors are so relaxing and beautiful...nice. Back with another super ceative tag project...yes! I really like your September theme choice...lots of seasonal images, enough to please everyone. I've seen a few more people using that wet glue gun. Looks like you've gotten more comfortable using it (and putting it back in the holder). My favorite element on this project is the acorn pull. Such creative fun!!

It's the leaves that I am particularly interested in learning. Enjoyed watching your technique for achieving your beautiful mottled colors. The "Golf" tool set is fairly new to me...thanks for the lesson on how to make best use of their shaping details...much appreciated. I always add some ink on the edges...love seeing the definition of each leaf edge. Sunflower centers are beautiful! Love the finished look of these wonderful sunflowers. Thank you, Kathy! Hi Kathy! I love this video! I have made many of the Heartfelt Creations Sunflowers in the last 8 years. This makes me want to make more using your inking methods. I love how yours turned out. I agree that they are time consuming but also fun to make. I think these are one of my most favorite flower to make. I’m hoping when all of John’s treatments are over in November and the holidays are over that I can get back to making my flowers, cards and gift boxes again. I just really haven’t had much time for it this year and haven’t been in the mood for it either. We leave Monday, September 2nd for Rochester to get settled in at the Hyatt House Hotel. It is within walking distance of Mayo Clinic and Mayo Methodist Hospital and the Eisenburg Building. John has blood work Tuesday, September 3rd, we see the Nurse Practitioner at 3:15 and then he gets admitted to Mayo Methodist Eisenburg building at 4:30 p.m. Once he gets settled into his room they will start the immunotherapy IV treatment, Rituximab which will last for 90 minutes. They always give him Benadryl and Tylenol 30 minutes before infusing him with the immunotherapy treatment. They also give him a steroid too. He will have the chemo every 12 hours for 4 cycles (4 bags). They have decided to lower the dosage on the Cytarabine since he had such low blood and platelet counts in July which required a platelet transfusion. He will have blood work three times a week after we get home next Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. It all depends on how he does while getting his treatments. The Lord blessed us in July with protection from all the harmful side effects that John could have had. We depend upon the Lord for His mighty shield of protection of every organ in John’s body during these treatments. We are so thankful for the good results John has had with the PET Scan he had the first week of August. He is cancer free. But he still has to complete the last three months of treatments since Mantle Cell Lymphoma is known to come back. We still don’t know if he will need a stem cell transplant or not. That will be determined once all of his treatments are over. He will have a MRD test when they are over. That test will determine if he has hidden cancer cells that the PET Scan did not show. If he is negative for hidden cancer cells he will be placed in a clinical trial. His Nurse Practitioner said he could still end up having a stem cell transplant with that clinical trial. He will also have to be checked every three months and will have the immunotherapy every two to three months for 3 years. John and I appreciate your prayers. They have really gotten us through these rough months. And your videos have also helped me to learn more techniques that I can apply once I get back into card and flower making. You are so appreciated Kathy. You bring much joy into my heart. And I think you are a crafting genius my friend! So thank you so much for everything you do to help all of us be more creative. God bless you as you continue to bless me and everyone who watches your channel.
